Fossil gas is a dangerous fuel which destroys the climate and the environment wherever it gets extracted and used. This report summarizes some of the harms created by the fossil gas industry and looks at who actually pays the price for new fossil gas and fossil gas infrastructure projects. It does this by looking at two cases of big new gas projects in Mozambique and Indfonesia, summarising the publicly available information on the public and private finance and related debt. It shows the impacts of these projects on the ground and point out which foreign entities, including European actors, are driving these extractive projects.
